The University of Wisconsin's Latin placement examination is administered by Testing and Evaluation Services (262-1747). You will find the schedule for placement examinations posted on their website. You may also take the Latin placement test at SOAR. A copy of the exam results should be sent electronically to Prof. James McKeown, the Latin Coordinator. Placement results are not binding and often a score will fall between two levels. Please consult the Latin Coordinator if you are unsure as to which class to enroll.
